ORRA 27 is the governing body of Motorsports for the South okanagan & Osoyoos First Nation territories.

Mission Statement

ORRA 27 provides leadership in the South Okanagan Region & Osoyoos First Nation territories, for the development of amateur automobile motorsports for the benefit of drivers, officials, and organizers in partnership with other regional and national organizations.

Our Mandates

Develop, supervise, and encourage the safe practice of road circuit motorsport competition at Western Canada’s premier facility, Area 27 Motorsports Park.
Represent, promote, and defend the collective interests of our individual members and corporate sponsors
Promote the development of skills, conduct, and etiquette for safe & fair competition driving

Support or coordinate innovative projects for the development and promotion of amateur Motorsports community.
Ensure the cooperation of members, partners, and stakeholders in the field of motorsports

Our Activities

Supervision and sanction of driving schools focused on high performance driving
Issuance of lapping and amateur racing licenses, and karting licenses
Sports management and organization of motorsport competition
Implementation of rules and regulations, sporting codes of conduct, and event procedures governing amateur motorsports
Training, supervision and development of race officials and marshals
Offering support and expertise to all our customers, members, drivers, amateurs, organizers, promoters of events, series and associative, corporate or government sports partners
Serve as a communication channel for information to our members and the general population
ORRA 27 currently Sanctions amateur Motorsports activities held at Area 27 Motorsport Park. Series included are the GT27 Continental Tire Cup, The Radical Canada West series, The GT54 championships, and CKRA and Rok Cup karting series.
